The chair of
music theory and composition of the Saratov State Sobinov
Conserrvatory and the the Guild of young musicians
of the Russian Musical Union “MezhdunarodMolOt” will held the XIII
International Shnitke Competition of Young Composers in the distant from due
to the epidemic situation. The Competition has two categories: Composition
for a chamber ensemble and Composition for a young organ player.
The selection round will be held on the 1 – 20 November 20202, the final
round – on the 24 – 26 November 2020. The applications ca=n be submitted till
the 31 October (including). During the Competition, on 24 – 26 November
2020 lectures and master classes are planned.
The will be held by the jury members: Igor Vorobiev (Russia, St.
Petersburg), Yaroslav Sudzilovskij (Russia, Moscow), Snezhana Pyslar
(Moldavia), Alexandra Chmielewska (Poland), Vladimir Korolevskij (Russia,
Sochi), Sergej Polozov (Russia, Saratov), Vladimir Mishle (Russia, Saratov),
Natalia Golfarb (Russia, Saratov). Composers not older than 30 years by the day
of the beginning of the Competition are entitled to participate, students and
alumni of the secondary and higher education institutions, young members of
the Russian musical union and other professional associations. The finalists will be awarded the diploma
and titles of laureates and diplomants. The finaltsts’ works will be
performed by the ensemble “Theatre of the New Music”, students and teacehrs
of the Saratov conservatory after the end of the COVID-19 pandemic. The task of the project is to promote youth
creativity in the area of composing and performing music, to discover and
support new names in the world of modern composition. |
The applications can be submitted in the prolonged term till the 31
